Alba is Ali's personal trainer! Quite possibly the friendliest girl on the planet. She is an expert in the small exercises that make a big difference. Alba doesn’t believe in ‘sweating it out’ in the gym, but everybody knows that moderate exercise is good for you, will help you lose weight more quickly and tone you up. Alba has some clever techniques and moves which, if you want to, you can do at home using ordinary everyday items and that fit around a busy lifestyle.

How do celebrities keep in shape? 

 

We all have celebrities that we think look fab and that we would love to look like – sometimes it might even just be you’d love to have their shoulder or legs ….so I have  been investigating how some celebrities with realistic, curvy and toned figures keep in shape to see if we can use some of their tips ….

 

Amanda Lamb, 34 –TV Presenter – A Place in the Sun and Former Model

Exercise Tips:

Gym 3-4 times a week as it gives her lots of energy and makes her feel fit.  She doesn’t just go so she can fit into her skinny jeans.

 

Kirsty Gallacher, 32 – TV Presenter – Gladiators, Winner of the Games and New Mum

Exercise Tips:

Kirsty has shed her baby weight by following a healthy balanced diet and working out, she regularly works out with her partner (rugby player Paul Sampson).  Kirsty also likes running, using a step, swiss ball, hand weights and bands to tone her body and define her muscles.

 

Kim Ryder, 31 - Soap Actress and Former Hear’Say Singer

Exercise Tips:

Kim says that running around after her kids keeps her extremely fit but she also likes running on country roads near her house, going to the gym and swimming.

 

Kelly Brook, 27 – Model, Own swimwear range for New Look

Exercise Tips:

Kelly doesn’t like the gym at all and prefers to go to pilates and tap-dancing classes to keep in shape

 

Nell McAndrew, 33 – Model and New Mum

Exercise Tips:

Nell is very into her fitness, she often runs marathons and 10k races.  She loves doing squats to tone her bum and of course she loves running.    Exercising keeps her de-stressed, gives her a positive mental attitude and confidence.

 

Scarlett Johansson, 22 – Actress

Exercise Tips:

Scarlett prefers to do yoga and take her dog for a walk.
