He is uniquely placed to assist you to reach your goals.

Now let me explain that statement. If you see the world as a friendly place, you'll tend to notice the ways in which things work out for the best. Because you're looking for 'friendly' things to happen, you're that much more likely to find them. At times, you may even create them with your intention and actions. This ‘Law of Attraction’ has been known for centuries. What you believe and focus on tends to become reality for you.

While it is certainly easier to convince yourself of things that most people also believe in like the impenetrable barrier of the 4-minute mile, it is just as possible to believe in anything, no matter how unlikely or even comical it may seem to others. In order to ‘believe’ that something is true, simply tell yourself that it is true, collect evidence which suggests that it is true, and act as if it is true.

However, instead of trying to align your beliefs with your perception of ‘reality’, is it possible to align your beliefs with what you most want to create in your life? Well, when you consistently ‘make believe’ in what you want, you can create some pretty unbelievable results!

1. Write down your top 3 goals in any area of your life.

2. For each goal, write out some things that it would be useful to ‘make believe’ are true:

Goal: To be the top performing salesman at my company

Make believes:

*Selling is easy and fun for me

*The more people I speak with, the easier it is for me to sell

*Learning to sell will make me a happier person

Not what you currently ‘believe’ is true, just anything you think would be useful if you did believe it.

3. Actively ‘make believe’ in what you want by telling yourself that it's true.

You can accelerate your affirmations by simply repeating the statement again and again in a physiology of certainty.  To do this, state something that actually is true and then your affirmation. It may take a few tries (or even a few hundred!), but when you can totally match the voice tone and physiology, you'll notice your new ‘make believe’ actually ‘feels’ much truer.

The more energy and attention you give something the more you’ll attract that thing, so be careful what you choose to attract into your life.

Now, come up with a list of goals and choose at least one to begin to attract in the next 24 hours.
