Alba doesn’t believe in ‘sweating it out’ in the gym, but everybody knows that moderate exercise is good for you, will help you lose weight more quickly and tone you up. Alba has some clever techniques and moves which, if you want to, you can do at home using ordinary everyday items and that fit around a busy lifestyle.

We all seem to measure how well we're doing when embarking upon a healthy eating and exercise regime by how much weight we've lost.  Most of us will weigh ourselves everyday just to see how we're doing.  If the scales say we've lost weight we're on top of the world but if we haven't or even put some on we're in a bad mood for the rest of the day and may even think it's pointless exercising that day and probably even stop off for a full fat muffin and full fat hot chocolate with double whipped cream on top on the way to work to cheer ourselves up.

 

Focus on other ways to measure weight loss and the success of a healthy eating and exercise regime. Below are some friendlier methods of doing that which won't have you playing mind games between yourself and your bathroom scales.

GO BY YOUR CLOTHES

If your clothes are feeling looser you know that your on the right track, or if you try on a piece of clothing that you haven't worn in a while because it was feeling really tight and possibly thought you would never be able to wear it again and it fits, this is a much healthier way to see how much your efforts are paying off.

YOU BECOME MORE POSITIVE AND LIVE YOUR LIFE
Whenever we feel bad about the way we look, we seem to look at everything negatively and just want to hide away.  When you start to exercise and eat better this immediately makes us feel better and embarking upon a healthy eating and exercise program over a period of time will have you looking at everything differently because you will feel better about the way you look and feel and in turn want to go out and do more things - you then want to stop hiding away from world.

The best part about adopting a lifestyle when you are eating much more healthily and exercising are the comments you start to get from people you know. Being told “you look great!” is one of the best ways to measure your success
