You Will Not get Thin by Missing Meals

Alba is Ali's personal trainer! Quite possibly the friendliest girl on the planet. She is an expert in the small exercises that make a big difference. Alba doesn’t believe in ‘sweating it out’ in the gym, but everybody knows that moderate exercise is good for you, will help you lose weight more quickly and tone you up. Alba has some clever techniques and moves which, if you want to, you can do at home using ordinary everyday items and that fit around a busy lifestyle.

Skipping meals could actually mean that you are slowing down your metabolism.  When this happens it makes losing weight and toning up very difficult.  If your calorie intake is too low not only will you lack energy but your body will end up holding onto fat instead of letting it go!!

I have so many clients that say to me "but I hardly eat anything" and "I dont have breakfast or snack between meals".  This is probably one of the reasons they aren't losing weight.  When I do write them a nutrition plan they are shocked at first as to how much they can eat in a day (of the right foods in the right portions of course) and are amazed when they lose weight by eating three good meals and even snacks (along with exercising as well of course).

Missing meals and reducing your calorie intake may seem to work in the short term but there will come a point where your body's survival instinct kicks in and actually stops you from achieving your goal of wanting to get thin.
