I always keep track of my clients workouts by writing down what weights they used, how many reps they did and how they felt for each session. Its a great way to monitor your progress from workout to workout. Try to have a small snack such as a banana or oatcake with peanut butter before a workout to give you enough energy to make the most of your workout. A small snack is better as than a meal as it will make you feel more energetic and raring to go as opposed to sluggish and tired if you eat a big meal.
